FEATURED PROJECT
Innovation Landing Zone (ILZ)
MISSION: To provide Airmen with a secure, monitored, and managed government cloud environment allowing them to rapidly build, test, and deploy mission solutions
What is the Innovation Landing Zone (ILZ)?
The ILZ is a DAF-owned, fully managed, infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) cloud environment. It aims to foster a culture of innovation and help Airmen test, operate, and move faster. It is not designed for sustainment or lifecycle management
It uses DAF365 identities and capabilities to create a secure scalable platform for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
The landing zone allows Airmen to quickly build and deploy mission solutions for Data and Artificial Intelligence, DevSecOps and Infrastructure, in a secure accredited cloud environment. This cloud environment is a temporary place to test and develop and will not be used for sustainment or Life Cycle Management.
